 Sweet but very mild flavour, somewhat reminiscent of slightly over-ripe melon

Great for juice or cooking. Simmered into sauces, used as a thickener in soups, or cooked into apple butter. They can also be cooked into jams, jellies, and syrups or blended into juices as a sweet addition. They have a notoriously hard skin!

There are a group of die hard Red Delicious fans who come every year to pick these as you can't find them in the shops anymore!

They are used a lot to create new varieties of apples! They are a very old variety of apple - so quite nostalgic for people!

The red colour from these apples is just from the sun, so even if the apple looks a bit green it's still a perfect apple! they are all RIPE!

Everyones fave! We get asked all the time when our pinks are ready!

INTERESTING FACTS..

Lots of our Pink Lady apples are a strain called Rosy Glow - they are much redder than a standard Pink Lady and were found down the road in Forest Range by the Mason Family. Our house was built by one of the Masons!

Everyone knows that Granny's are great for cooking - but from our observations kids absolutely love Granny Smiths for their sour flavour!

HOW TO GRAB A GRANNY..

Granny Smith apples are quite a robust apple and therefore, basically pick the size that you want!

WHO'S FAVORITE?

Everyones - because it means its baking time!

INTERESTING FACTS..

This apple is named after Maria Ann Smith, who propagated the cultivar from a chance seedling - who obviously was a grandma herself.
