Bookings for the 2024 season are open NOW for our school excursions and group farm tours.
FARM TOURS
Teachers - Get the kids out of the classroom and onto the farm to learn where their food comes from through experiencing agriculture! Our tours are also very popular for homeschool groups, aged care and disability groups.
WHAT'S COVERED IN THE TOUR?
We tailor our tours to what you have been teaching, however we usually include

lifecycle of an apple to how it ends up at the supermarket

the work done on the farm explained in conjunction with the different seasons

AVAILABILITY & TIMES

Wednesday, Thursdays & Fridays within apple season (late Feb - late May)

Tours commence at 10am and finish at 2pm
-
You are more than welcome to stay and use the farms facilities until closing time on the day.
INCLUSIONS
4 hour personalised farm tour
Personalised apple picking bag with name on it.
Approx. 2kg of apples to take home (that you've harvested yourself!).
All you can eat apples
Cup of fresh Apple Juice
Areas for lunch (byo packed lunch)
Use of farm facilities until closing time on the day
*Lunch can be organised for extra*
PRICING
$17 per head inc GST (anyone attending over the age of 2 years old)
$100 fee incurred if your group has less than 30 people.
WANT TO BOOK?
Send us an email to info@atlenswood.com.au with your preferred date, time slot and how many people overall will be attending. If you would like to confirm your booking we ask for a $100 non-refundable deposit. Book in early to secure your spot as we book out very quickly - especially during school holidays.
One week prior to the event we will require confirmation of numbers and final payment.
EXTRA INFORMATION

As we are both nurses, we have police checks, working with children checks, public liability insurance and mandatory reporting certifications.

We can park very large buses in our carpark

We have our own toilets, but unfortunately due to council regulations we do not have disabled toilets
-
We have a cafe onsite - perfect for your coffee fix!

There are many places and spaces you can enjoy your BYO lunch in the orchard
For aged care groups and groups with specific mobility requirements please note the apples that are in season on our 'flattest' terrain are during March and May.
